Baronial Announcements
There are still two weeks to vote in the zipcode inclusion poll. The poll asks residents of Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties who have participated in Cleftlands activities, as well as residents within our current borders, to weigh in on a proposal to formally expand Cleftlands to include the aforementioned counties. This does not create a new group, change how Cleftlands operates, or change where anyone is expected to participate. Approval of the proposal will require at least two-thirds of the votes cast to
be in favor. Votes will only be accepted from respondents residing in Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties. If you have further questions about the poll, please speak to Sir Crispin. The poll can be found on the Cleftlands Facebook page and at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeqUTdbT-

From Duchess Runa – I am Royalty Liasson for Crown Tournament. A Silent Auction will be held at September Dessert Revel to help offset costs of food and drink in the event’s Royalty Room. (Society law prohibits such funds from coming from the Barony’s coffers.) Please consider donating an item or items for this Auction. Cash donations will also be gratefully accepted. Donations will be accepted up until the day of the Dessert Revel.
Lord Robert atte Northclyfe would like to remind everyone about the upcoming election in the Mundane World. He will be bringing voter registration forms and vote-by-mail applications to meetings.
Those fighting in the Fall Crown Tournament will have permission to set up tents the evening before the tournament begins. All others will be able to set up tents starting at 8am on the first day of the tournament. Hotel rooms are available through Best Western Norwalk, but there are also three other hotels in the area. See Sir Crispin for more information.
Lupa has offered to transport entries for the Scroll Blank Challenge to the Coronation for people who are not attending themselves. They also have scroll blanks with designs for those who would like to paint something, but do not want to draw a design themselves. Scroll blanks can either be taken from or given to Lupa at baronial meetings between now and Coronation.

Addendum
Our newcomer Lady Mathilde has kindly offered to be Deputy Chronicler, and has already demonstrated her skills in recording these meeting notes of September 3rd, in my absence. Many Thanks to her.
Additionally, it was brought to my attention that, in last week’s notes, the phrasing suggested that the project to embrace Baronial lands to our east was intended as a birthday gift to Her Excellency Aurelia. There had been a comment made in jest during meeting that was being referenced, and I offer my personal apology to any and all who may have been disturbed by what I wrote.
-Tarmach, Chronicler
