Meeting Minutes: 9-Jul-60

Site notes

We meet at the Good Shepherd Family Center, St John of the Cross, 140 Richmond Rd, Euclid.  Please use the entrance at the far end along the parking lot.

The Baronial Briefing/Announcements will be at 7:30 indoors for the summer.

Kingdom & Baronial Court

We tested the Midrealm ALS system at tonight’s meeting – a new phone-based system to make it easier for all to hear those speaking during court.  Relatively simple to set up, and can be used with captioning along with earbuds, hearing aids, headphones, etc.  There were mixed results on tonight’s test, but we’ll all learn together!

Pennsic Updates

We will not have regular meetings on July 23 through August 13.  Next week (July 16) will be our last regular meeting until August 20.  Stay tuned for updates on Home Fires meetings.

For those at Pennsic (or joining in from home), watch Facebook for details on this year’s sneaky baronial entertainment…

Assistance is requested to support the Armored & Rapier fighters by supplying the baronial tent with drinks and food during Pennsic.  In addition, help will be needed to set up and take down the baronial tent; date & time details will be announced.

Watch Facebook for the muster schedule once it has been determined, along with watching for updates during Pennsic.

A roster of armored fighters joining the unit at Pennsic is being organized, if you wish to join see Lord Eofor, who will be the Commander of the unit this year.

Several officers are looking for deputies, and this is a great way to try it out and see if you enjoy it.  If you think you might be interested in what an officer does, come talk with one of us.  If you’re just not sure what the various officers do, come ask about that!

Their Royal Majesties ask that we all be their eyes & ears for people who are deserving of awards.  Remember that the Cleftlands wiki lists a person’s awards, if you’d like to see whether they already have a given award.

Edit:  Apologies, this challenge has actually ended.  Award blanks are always welcome, however…  Scribal challenge from Her Majesty – There is a competition for the group that can provide the most AoA level award blanks.  Blanks may be submitted with illumination only, calligraphy only, or both.

Is your Cleftlands Wiki entry up to date?  Look for the QR codes available at meeting to make changes.
