We meet at the Good Shepherd Family Center, St John of the Cross, 140 Richmond Rd, Euclid.  Please use the entrance at the far end along the parking lot.

Officers Announcements

We have a new seneschal – Sir Crispin de la Rochefoucauld.  Many thanks to Mistress Angharad ferch Tangwystl for her service!

New society peerage for ranged fighters has been announced as of May – The Order of the Mark. The initial members will be put on vigil this weekend at Coronation, elevations begin in June at NOWM!.  Please note that due to the new peerage, the marshalling requirements will be changing – make certain you bring your marshal card when at an event.

Feast is sold out, though a wait list is available.

Sir Valharic may still need volunteers to serve feast.

Publick House is covering breakfast for all, and Elizabethe is accepting donations at the event.

Setup is Friday evening at 6pm through 10pm, or until done if earlier.

Note that anyone who comes to help setup can troll in at the same time.

Site opens at 8am Saturday.

Anyone who can help with teardown after the event will be greatly appreciated!

Cooks:  Many thanks to all those who brought royal dishes for the challenge!

Exchequer:  We ask each person to donate $2/meeting, or $100/yr; if this is your 1st meeting, please be our guest.

Garb-a-Thon:  Saturday 5/10 and Friday 5/16 from 10am – 6pm at the House of the Three Cats.  See Facebook for the location.

Iron Key:  Anyone providing loaner items, please label them!

Scribes:  Meeting 5/6 at Aiden & Hely’s home to discuss the scroll blank challenge.

Youth:  Come see Lady Chaiya regarding youth activities – let her know what your kids are interested in.

Most officers are happy to have more than one deputy, if there is another you are interested in.  Remember that acting as deputy is a great way to try it out and see if you enjoy it.

 

We have an opening for a new Chatelaine – if you are interested in this position, you can apply on our website.  If you have questions about what the position entails, please contact the current or any other prior holders and ask.

 

Their Royal Highnesses ask that we all be their eyes & ears for people who are deserving of awards.  Remember that the Cleftlands wiki lists a person’s awards, if you’d like to see whether they already have a given award.

 

Scribal challenge from Her Highness – There is a competition for the group that can provide the most AoA level award blanks.  Blanks may be submitted with illumination only, calligraphy only, or both.
