Guild & Officer announcements

Archery:  practice on Monday 8/26 from 5-7pm; will be moving to Sunday practice after Labor Day for earlier times

Armorers:  no meeting this week, will resume 8/29 at regular time & place, see Baron Calum for details

Arts & Sciences:  class today – Beaded Cabochons.  Upcoming classes – Archaeology, Dance, Beaded veil edges.  Stay tuned to meeting announcements and Facebook for schedule updates.

Exchequer:  we ask each person to donate $2/meeting, or $100/yr; if this is your 1st meeting, please be our guest.  If you pay annually at the midway point of the year, that would be now.

Garb-a-Thon: Friday 9/6 from 10-4 at Bedford Library; time to get ready for 12th Night!

Youth: If you have children and would like information on activities for them, contact Lady Chaiya.

 

General announcements

Thanks to Meistara Thorhalla for coordinating the Home Fires meetings during Pennsic!

Next week (8/28) is our Dessert Revel and the Baronial Solemnities.  We will be recognizing the activities and accomplishments of members of the barony, both at home and at war, so come prepared to share tales!

The following week (9/4) will be our Showcase Tournament for the heavy list combatants; more details will be available during Dessert Revel.

Genevra is looking for assistance with packing to move into her new house – contact her if you can help.

Some kumihimo and other craft supplies are available as Maggie is also moving and needs to make space; a donation is requested if you are taking supplies.

 

Our temporary meeting site is Ss. Robert and William Catholic Parish, at 367 E. 260th St., Euclid.  We are awaiting word on when our usual site will be ready for us to return.  Go to the school, not the church. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.  A brief business meeting is held at 8 p.m. We need to vacate the site between 9:30 and 10 p.m.
