- NOWM is approaching this weekend!
- Friday (6/7): setup will begin around 1 PM, all are welcome to lighten the work.
- Saturday (6/8): gate opens at 8am
- Advanced registration is now closed, all those who have registered will have a super fast check-in!
- The gate will be split into 2 lines – one for members paying cash, one for everyone else; gate volunteers are still needed.
- Camping is still available, but through the campgrounds NOT through the SCA – see event website for link: https://events.cleftlands.org/nowm/
- Pennsic: mail-in preregistration has ended; online prereg ends 6/14!

- Archery: meeting Mon from 5-7, see Dafydd Myddleton for directions
- Armorers: meeting at regular time & place, see Baron Calum for details
- Arts & Sciences: class today – Demos in the SCA with the Honorable Lady Shahzada al-Zahra
- Cooks: June challenge is siege cookery – see Dorothea for a bag of ingredients
- Demos: the Scottish games are at the Berea fairgrounds on 6/22 – you must sign up online by this Saturday (6/8) to have free admission. Check the baronial Facebook group for the Google Docs link.
- New this year, we need to report tent sizes for insurance permit; if you are bringing a tent, Shahzada needs the dimensions asap. Fri 6/21 is afternoon setup, time tbd
- Exchequer: we ask each person to donate $2/meeting, or $100/yr; if this is your 1st meeting, please be our guest
- Garb-a-Thon: Friday 6/7 from 10-4 at Richmond Heights Library
- Makers: It’s about 6 weeks till Pennsic, if you have projects, come discuss them asap with Lord Gaius Macro Calvinus
- Musicians: Wednesday rehearsals @ 6:45 – 8pm, indoors or outside depending on weather
- Needleworkers: Tabard project update – come to needleworkers 6:30 Tuesday evening (6/12) at Critical Hit gaming store to help sew there or to pick up supplies to sew at home
General Announcements
- A&S activity summary: Tonight’s Demo class was a great overview on how to dress, prepare for, and present ourselves at a demo; helpful tips & reminders on what to do or not to do
- Next Wednesday (6/12) at 8:15 is the Event Planning Committee meeting, open to anyone interested
- Chronicler is looking for deputies/reporters – contact Katherin verch Rhys for details
- Lady Genevra is looking for an Airbnb roommate for Pennsic
- Our temporary meeting site for the summer (at least) is Ss. Robert and William Catholic Parish, at 367 E. 260th St., Euclid. Go to the school, not the church. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. A brief business meeting is held at 8 p.m. We need to vacate the site between 9:30 and 10 p.m.
