CLEFTLANDS EVENTS
Standard Bearers: This is the event where the barony’s A&S, rapier, archery and armored combat champions are chosen. A bid has been received and will be reviewed at the March 1 officers meeting.
OPEN OFFICER POSITIONS
Gold Key: This person is in charge of the barony’s collection of loaner garb. The application will be posted on the baronial website Feb. 1. Applications close Feb. 22 and will be reviewed at the March 1 officers meeting.
Youth Officer: The application is on the baronial website. It will remain open until there are applicants.
Chatelaine: The application will be posted on the baronial website Feb. 1. Applications close Feb. 22 and will be reviewed at the March 1 officers meeting.

OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Minster of Arts and Sciences: See the baronial website and Facebook page for details. Deputies and teachers are needed. Please suggest classes you would like to take.
The barony is organizing a group to see “The Tudors: Art and Majesty in Renaissance England” at the Cleveland Museum of Art on Sunday, March 26. Those who are interested should fill out the online form, and see our Minister of Arts and Sciences Dame Elizabethe for details.

GUILD ANNOUNCEMENTS
Scribal Guild: The guild will hold a scribal evening on the third Wednesday of the month.
Armorers Guild: This guild meets most Thursdays in Berea. The host requires that participants be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend. See Baron Calum for details.

OLD BUSINESS
Exchequer: Members are asked to donate $2 per meeting, or $50 per year, to cover the cost of the meeting hall rental.
Quartermaster: The quartermaster must be notified at least two weeks in advance if a member wishes to borrow baronial gear.
Baronial meetings: Set-up starts at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m. We must vacate the building before 10 p.m.
