Baronial Announcements
Many thanks to those who assisted and participated in the recent Cleveland Gaming Classic demo, and to Lord Magnus for being the contact and providing the opportunity. There were a range of folks presenting armored combat, rapier combat, combat archery, and telling the tales of the Society.
The poll asking opinion if Geauga, Lake, and Ashtabula counties should become part of the Barony of the Cleftlands, has closed. Results will be forthcoming.

Upcoming Demos
9/19 — Garrettsville Chamber of Commerce, from noon to 4 pm. Sgt. Bennett is running a demo of armored combat. The demo will be concurrent with a local Octoberfest. The following week, on Wednesday, 9/23, an armored combat practice will be held in Garrettsville to allow interested newcomers to participate. Contact Lord Bennett, Her Grace Runa, or Forester Cadfan for details and sign-up (including the address).
Officer Announcements
From Minister of A&S, Meistara Thorhalla –9/23 will be a class on the Japanese technique of mending clothing, Sashiko, to be taught by Lady Nadyezhda the Simple. IF you have an idea for a class you’d like to teach, or a suggestion for a class that might be of interest to others, please contact Thorhalla.
Lord Robert atte Northclyfe would like to remind everyone about the upcoming election in the Mundane World. He has brought voter registration forms and vote-by-mail applications to meeting. Also, he is starting pre-reg for Crown Tourney.

Armorers Guild will not be meeting tomorrow, 9/17.
Addenda
Her Excellency Countess Elina de Braose, who is handling Gate for Crown Tournament, encourages all who wish to attend to pre-register. This speeds the process of passing people into the event on that day.
Reminder – There will be a Silent Auction on 9/30 to raise funds for the foods provided in the Royalty Room at Crown Tournament. This money is prohibited from being provided by a Barony, and therefore must come from individuals – particularly, from the Royalty Liasson. Her Grace Runa asks for donations of items to be auctioned, as will also accept cash donations.
No Garb-a-Thon this weekend, next weekend, and likely not on 10/4.
Lady Jolicia is requesting assistance to set up decorations Friday evening at Crown Tourney. No tall ladders will be involved – at most, a step stool. All supplies will be provided.

We meet at the Good Shepherd Family Center, St John of the Cross, 140 Richmond Rd, Euclid. Please use the entrance at the northern far end along the parking lot. Baronial Briefing/Announcements are held at 7:30.
