We meet at the Good Shepherd Family Center, St John of the Cross, 140 Richmond Rd, Euclid.  Please use the entrance at the far end along the parking lot.

The Baronial Briefing/Announcements will be at 7:30 indoors for the summer.

 

Officers Announcements

Regarding Crown Tournament – we have a new Prince and Princess of the Middle Kingdom, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Sascha St. Martin and Princess Kemma of the Three Rivers!

Many Cleftlanders fought well for the honor, with four making it into the final 16, and one – Sir Thorin – in the final four.

Regarding Kingdom A&S – Lucius di Bracco Rosso, Dutchess Runa Eikbrandrskona, and Lady Jolicia atte Northclyfe all participated, and Lady Jolicia has been asked to join the Kingdom A&S Team for Pennsic!

At Royal Court that evening, Lady Dyrfinna Arnesdottir was presented with an Award of Arms, and her Majesty was presented with 27 scrolls created by a collection of both new and experienced scribes from Cleftlands!

 

The schedule for Standard Bearers competitions is:

  • Armored & Rapier at NOWM
  • Due to tonight’s weather, Archery will be at meeting on 6/4
  • A&S at June dessert revel (6/25)

Prereg is open both online (through Sunday 6/1) and at meeting (through Wednesday 6/4).

Our Armored and Rapier Standard Bearers tournaments will be held at NOWM in the morning.

Please make award recommendations to take advantage of the local event!

As is now traditional, pre-registering gets express check-in at the event.

New for this year, anyone who pre-registers will get a raffle ticket for a chest built by Count Nikolai!

Assistance is needed to set up the baronial tent Friday evening, please see Cadfan if you can help.

7/2 – the Baronial open house, cookout, and swap meet.  If you attend the Scottish Games demo, be sure to spread the word to those interested!

Demos:  6/28 is the Scottish Games demo, with setup on the evening of 6/27.

Exchequer:  We ask each person to donate $2/meeting, or $100/yr; if this is your 1st meeting, please be our guest.

Garb-a-Thon:  Saturday 5/31 from 10am – ??? at the House of the Three Cats.  Food will be available.  See Facebook for the location.

Gold Key:  Need garb for an upcoming event, but you’re new or just out of things that fit?  We can help!   We are also doing some spring cleaning & repairs on the garb – sewing/mending assistance is welcome.

Scribes:  Meeting Tuesday 6/3 at Brackenbury College.

 

A roster of armored fighters joining the unit at Pennsic is being organized, if you wish to join see Lord Eofor, who will be the Commander of the unit this year.

Our current A&S Champion Lady Lyonette has issued a challenge as her final act as Champion – finish at least one of your UFOs…UnFinished Objects.  Choose any of your unfinished products sitting around taunting you, finish it, and see her at NOWM for a token.

Several officers are looking for deputies, and this is a great way to try it out and see if you enjoy it.  If you think you might be interested in what an officer does, come talk with one of us.  If you’re just not sure what the various officers do, come ask about that!

Their Royal Highnesses ask that we all be their eyes & ears for people who are deserving of awards.  Remember that the Cleftlands wiki lists a person’s awards, if you’d like to see whether they already have a given award.
