IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
No more masks: Masks will no longer be required for any SCA activities in the Middle Kingdom. The ONLY Covid policy still in effect is the required posting of the Society disclaimer at all in-person events and in any digital invitations for those events (Facebook events, website, emails, social posts). If you test positive for COVID-19, please do not attend meetings or events. See our seneschal Clarissa if you have questions.
DESSERT REVELS
The Aug. 31 revel will be an ice cream social, with ice cream treats. Those who attended Pennsic are encouraged to bring class handouts to share. Armored combat and fencing will take place.

GUILD ANNOUNCEMENTS
Equestrian Guild: Lady Rhea will attend the Aug. 31 meeting to discuss reviving the guild.
Armorers Guild: This guild meets most Thursdays in Berea. The host requires that participants be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend. See Baron Calum for details.

OLD BUSINESS
Exchequer: We are asking for $2 per meeting, or $50 per year, to cover the cost of the meeting hall rental. The rent has increased over the years, and we had to pay for the entire month during the period when meetings were twice a month.
Quartermaster: The quartermaster must be notified at least two weeks in advance if a member wishes to borrow baronial gear.
Baronial meetings: Meetings will be held weekly for the foreseeable future. Bring lawn chairs if you choose to sit outdoors. Set-up starts at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m.
