Demos
- Mapleside Demo is Sept 17-18, with setup on Sept 16 evening. There are many volunteers but more are always needed. There are more information on the Facebook event page: everyone on the Cleftlands page has been invited, or can share the invite with you upon request. You can also check with Artair directly for information.
Events
- Claricia is organizing the feast for Regular Event in Jan 2017. She’s looking for help in all aspects of the kitchen: cooking, cleaning, plating, and serving. She’s also looking for those who can make Hero Dishes to present to champions, victors, and others, which should be made in advance. Please check with her to volunteer or learn more about the feast.
Guilds
Guilds are the special interest groups of the SCA: people working together to focus on a particular activity. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
- Woodworkers Guild meets this Thursday, 7-10 pm at Meinhard’s home. Please contact Meinhard at Meinhard.hammerschmidt@gmail.com for directions or with questions. You can also check the Cleftlands Woodworkers Facebook page.
- Armorer’s Guild will be meeting at Ealdred’ and Clariel’s home this Thursday, 7-10 pm . Please contact Calum at calum@att.net for information or directions.
- Unofficial Fencing Practice meets this Sunday. Please contact Cynwrig for details atjimpretz@sbcglobal.net.
- East side archery practice meets next Tuesday starting at 5:30 at the home of Gwyneth and Muldonney, 411 Douglas Blvd, Richmond Heights, OH 44143. Donations will be used to replace archery butts, foam, and targets. Loaner equipment is available.
- Scribes Guild will be meeting at the home of Milesent on Monday, September 19 around 7 pm.

- Pietro has Known World map posters based on his Standard Bearer’s A&S entry available, and is taking orders for t-shirts.
- The Sept 28 Dessert Revel will also a Newcomers Night to greet those first timers joining us after Mapleside Demo. Please come dressed and ready to display your activities.

- Harvest Days and TOC is this weekend, only 4 hours away. Many activities are scheduled, including the elevation of Vincent Furnier as Master of Defense.

- The November 30 Revel will host a formal Armored Tourney. All Armored combatants are invited to participate.
