This will be an exploration of the Olive and the reasons behind its profound impact on the empires of the Mediterranean and ultimately, the world. There will also be a brief discussion of reliable sources in the mundane world. And yes, there will be samples from Greece that survived the trek home in my luggage last Fall. Handouts available.
