Announcements

  • Gianna is reaching the end of her term as Seneschal and would like to step down before NOWM. If you are at all interested in the position, please talk to her about it. She’ll make herself available 8-8:45 at meetings.until March 8, the deadline for application. She even has a handwritten list of important point to share with you.

Officers

  • Tariq, as Iron Key Coordinator, is looking for volunteers to work with him and the Armourer’s Guild to repair and refresh the loaner armor. Please talk to him if you’re interested in helping out the newer fighters.

Officers

Guilds are the special interest groups of the SCA: people working together to focus on a particular activity. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.

  • Woodworkers Guild meets this Thursday, 7-10 pm at Meinhard’s home. Current projects include making chests for coolers. Please contact Meinhard at Meinhard.hammerschmidt@gmail.com for directions or with questions. You can also check the Cleftlands Woodworkers Facebook page.

  • Needleworkers will meet at Dulcia’s home Tue 2/21. Contact Madelaine at ladymadelaine@sbcglobal.net if you have questions.
  • There will be dancing from 7-beginning of the Rapier Tourney at next week’s Dessert Revel.
  • Cook’s Guild Dumpling making will be Sun Feb 26 at 2 pm at Angharad’s house. Please check the Cleftlands Cooks facebook page for info.
  • The Siege Cookery Challenge has been updated to March 1, due to travel issues tonight. If you don’t have your bag of supplies, please contact Angharad.
  • Cooks’ Guild meet at 7:30 on March 1. Oliver’s class on knife maintenance will be at 8 pm.

Calum

  • Their Majesties have, finally, announced their decision, and Gianna and Crispin will serve as our next Baroness and Baron, stepping up at NOWM.

Constanza

  • At Val Day, Njall, Tariq and Kari all placed well in the Squire’s Tourney.
  • Next week is the Rapier Tourney. Bring your inspiration, your finest kit, and prepare to impress the gallery, as well as the Barony.
